What's up from the folks (well folk anyway) here at Zitnay.com. This isn't the most constructive site out there on the web, but I just figured that all the people with the last name of Zitnay needed to be represented somewhere on the Internet. There aren't too many of us as it is. Last time I checked, a search on Yahoo! People Search listed 24 people with the last name "Zitnay". I can personally only claim to know a handful of these people, and I certainly can't place them all, so there are a bunch of you out there that I have no clue about.

As for me, I'm Andrew Zitnay (Andrew Frank Zitnay IV, that is), a software developer living in Washington, DC with my fiancée Chelsea. I graduated from the University of Maryland in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in computer science and math.

I registered zitnay.com mostly because I wanted the email address drew@zitnay.com, but I figured I'd put this web page up too. I thought about doing it in the mid-1990's, but now that the price for Internet domain names has come down from $50 a year then to $10 or less a year now, I had to do it.

So what's the point of this page? I dunno, really. I guess if anyone else wants an email address in the zitnay.com domain or a few megs of web space under www.zitnay.com, I'd give it to them (you've got to be named or have an ancestor named Zitnay, of course). Let me know if you'd like to try either of these things out.

This site also contains some family tree information on the Zitnay line, dating as far back as my great-great-great-great grandfather (born in the late 1700's). Have a look and see if you're on it! Here's how they're laid out:
